With these only being the sneaks, it makes me even more excited to share the rest! But it’s safe to say that these are my absolute favorites from Reagan & Bruce’s engagement session held at one of the most gorgeous places in Louisiana – Nottoway. If you’re looking to find something timeless, classic with a little Southern flare – this is place to go!
Not only will the white room take your breathe away, all of the gardens, oaks & scenery really is what makes this place so special.
Also you’ll see Reagan & Bruce photographed inside a stunning Cathedral near Nottoway, where they will be having their wedding this year! Whenever Reagan approached me about shooting her engagements at St. John, in Plaquemine Louisiana, I was thrilled because not many sessions are held at the church where the couple normally tie the knot! So immediately I started thinking of different concepts, and ideas from my previous adventures at the same location in hopes to create something new, and different from what I’ve done in the past.
Thankfully we were able to capture some amazing photos, including a Pirogue borrowed from her Grandfather, which turned out to be some of my favorite shots during the session. There were attempts for confetti shots, but I’d have to say the popped champagne in front of the mansion towards the end of the shoot are a new addition to the portfolio!
